According to the India Meteorological Department (IMD), there is a possibility of heavy rains over the west coast for the next five days. As per IMD’s meteorological advisory, very widespread rainfall is expected over Interior Karnataka, Maharashtra and Marathwada during next 5 days. Scattered rain is forecast over Gujarat State, Telangana, Andhra Pradesh, Yanam, Tamil Nadu, Puducherry and Karaikal . Isolated heavy rainfall has been predicted over Konkan and Goa, Coastal Karnataka, Kerala and Mahe and southern parts of Saurashtra for the next 5 days .
There is a possibility of rain in Ghat areas of Madhya Maharashtra, Interior Karnataka and South Gujarat region on 26th and 29th. The Meteorological Department has also forecast light to moderate rain with isolated light to moderate rain over Uttarakhand, East Uttar Pradesh, Himachal Pradesh and West Uttar Pradesh till June 29. It will also rain in Chhattisgarh, Vidarbha and Madhya Pradesh.
