IMD Alert: According to the IMD, there is a possibility of sporadic to moderate rain in Punjab and Haryana between February 26 and March 1. During February 27-March 1, it may rain in western Uttar Pradesh and Rajasthan.

IMD Alert: The weather is going to change once again. The passing cold has brought rain with it. According to the India Meteorological Department (IMD), the latest western disturbance will show its effect between February 25-28. Due to this, there will be light to moderate rain in Jammu and Kashmir, Ladakh, Himachal Pradesh and Uttarakhand. There is also a possibility of thunder and lightning. Also, snowfall may occur at different places. There is a possibility of sporadic to moderate rain in Punjab and Haryana between February 26 and March 1. During February 27-March 1, it may rain in western Uttar Pradesh and Rajasthan. The weather will change in Arunachal Pradesh, Assam, Meghalaya, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram and Tripura on February 24. There is a possibility of hailstorm along with rain at some places today. The Meteorological Department has already issued an alert regarding this.

The national capital Delhi is covered with light fog on Monday morning. This affected the traffic and the cold has also increased due to the rain in the past few days. According to the Meteorological Department, today the maximum temperature is expected to be around 27 degrees Celsius and the minimum temperature around 11 degrees Celsius. The maximum temperature in Delhi on Sunday was recorded at 26.7 degrees Celsius, which is 1.2 degrees higher than the season’s average. The sky remained largely clear in the national capital during the day. The minimum temperature was recorded at 10.3 degrees Celsius. The humidity level ranged between 96 percent and 44 percent. According to the Central Pollution Control Board, the Air Quality Index was recorded at 143 at 6 pm, which falls in the moderate category.

Rain and snowfall in Jammu and Kashmir for the next 4 days

Light to moderate rain and snowfall is expected at most places in Jammu and Kashmir for four days from February 25. The weather is likely to remain generally dry till Monday. Cloudy weather with light to moderate rain and snowfall is expected at most places from February 25 till the end of the month. The minimum temperature late night was recorded at 0.0 degree Celsius in Srinagar, minus 5.6 degrees Celsius in the ski resort of Gulmarg, minus 4.3 degrees Celsius in the tourist resort of Pahalgam and minus 0.6 degrees Celsius in Qazigund. The maximum temperature in Kashmir division also increased by two to four degrees Celsius, with Srinagar recording the highest temperature of 15.2 degrees Celsius, followed by Pahalgam at 11.0 degrees Celsius and Kupwara at 15.2 degrees Celsius.
