Weather Forecast: The entire North India including Delhi-NCR is currently facing severe cold as well as dense fog. At the same time, the Meteorological Department has issued a rain alert in many parts of the country.
According to the IMD, there will be no relief from the cold wave for the next few days. Rain and thunderstorms have been predicted in Delhi NCR during the next 24 hours, for which a yellow alert has been issued. After this, the temperature will drop further.
There is a possibility of rain in Rajasthan’s capital Jaipur, Bikaner and Bharatpur divisions today i.e. on January 11. During this time, hailstorm is also likely in some areas.
Dense fog is likely to prevail in different areas of eastern Rajasthan on January 12 and 13. According to the IMD, dense fog will prevail in some parts of Haryana, Chandigarh, Punjab and eastern Uttar Pradesh on January 12 and 13.
The IMD has predicted light rain or snowfall at different places in Kashmir on January 11-12. Cold wave conditions prevail in Kashmir at this time. Temperatures are in minus at many places.
According to the Meteorological Department, dense fog is likely in Bihar-Bengal on January 11-13, in UP on January 12-15, in Odisha, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram and Tripura on January 13.
Cold winds have increased the cold in Uttar Pradesh. The weather in UP may change today. According to the IMD, there is a possibility of rain and hailstorm in the state between Saturday evening and Monday.
According to the IMD, there is a possibility of thunderstorms in Pratapgarh, Bhadohi, Ghazipur, Gorakhpur, Kushinagar, Barabanki, Lucknow, Gonda, Bahraich, Balrampur, Shravasti, Basti, Gorakhpur, Deoria, Ballia, Azamgarh, Ayodhya, Sultanpur, Jaunpur, Ghazipur, Varanasi, Mirzapur, Allahabad districts of UP during the next 24 hours.
