Warning of heavy rain, thunder and lightning

The pace of monsoon is still slow in many states. Heavy rain has been predicted in most states of the country for the next few days. Rain warning has been issued in Assam, Meghalaya, Manipur, Nagaland, Mizoram, Arunachal Pradesh, Bihar, Jharkhand, West Bengal, Orissa Telangana. A warning has been issued regarding heavy rain as well as thunder and lightning in these areas in the next two to three days. An alert has also been issued for this. There will be clouds in the sky. According to the Meteorological Department, a warning of heavy to very heavy rain has been issued in Coastal Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, Kerala, Orissa, Jharkhand and Mahe, while sporadic rain may also be seen at some places.

Heavy rain forecast till September 8

Rain has been predicted in Madhya Pradesh and Chhattisgarh on September 7. Rain warning has been issued in Orissa, West Bengal and Jharkhand between September 3 and 10, while heavy rain has been predicted in Assam, Meghalaya, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram and Tripura today. There will be a change in the weather in Chhattisgarh from 4th to 7th September. During this period, a drop in temperature will also be seen. The sky will remain cloudy while there is a possibility of heavy rain at different places in Madhya Pradesh on September 7. Light moderate rain will continue in Maharashtra till September 8. During this period, a warning of thunderstorm has also been issued.

  • During the next 24 hours, there is a possibility of heavy rain with moderate rain at one or two places in Telangana, Maharashtra, Chhattisgarh, Andaman Nicobar Islands, Karnataka, Orissa, Jharkhand.
  • There is a possibility of light rain in Jammu and Kashmir, Gilgit-Baltistan, Uttarakhand and Ladakh. There will be an increase in temperature.
  • Moderate rain is expected in parts of Northeast India, East Bihar, East Jharkhand, Orissa, Lakshadweep, Tamil Nadu, Sikkim, Himachal Pradesh.

Rise in temperature

Apart from Rajasthan, increase in temperature is also being seen in Delhi, Haryana, Chandigarh, Punjab. The trend of increasing temperature in these areas is going to continue for now. However, normal rainfall has been predicted in these areas in the month of September.
