Bone-chilling cold continues in entire North India including Delhi, Uttar Pradesh and Bihar. People are struggling to keep themselves warm. People have to take shelter of heat by lighting bonfires in the morning and evening. A thin layer of fog has also engulfed the capital and its surrounding cities. At the same time, thick layer of fog is being seen in other areas of North India. Apart from this, rain is being seen in Mumbai.

According to the Meteorological Department (IMD), there is a possibility of a cold day in Delhi today. The maximum temperature in Delhi today may be 16 degrees Celsius.

Fog wreaks havoc in these states
According to IMD, very dense fog in isolated areas of Jammu and Kashmir, West Rajasthan and East Madhya Pradesh, Punjab, Uttar Pradesh, West Madhya Pradesh, East Rajasthan, Bihar, Haryana and isolated areas of Chandigarh, Odisha and Tripura. Dense fog has been seen.

Cold havoc in UP-Bihar
Talking about Uttar Pradesh, there will be fog or mist in the morning in the capital Lucknow and the sky will be mainly clear during the day. The minimum temperature today can reach 7 degrees Celsius and the maximum temperature can reach 17 degrees Celsius. Even today, dense fog is being seen in many areas of UP and in Bihar too, the fog is so dense that it is difficult to even see the surroundings.
