With the end of the effect of El Nino, rainfall activity has started once again in many states. The weather has become pleasant due to rain in the capital Delhi. The sky is cloudy in Punjab and Haryana also. Strong cold winds are blowing and there will be a feeling of sultry heat during the day.
Heavy rain warning issued
The Meteorological Department has issued a warning of heavy rain in many areas of Rajasthan and Gujarat. Apart from this, orange alert of heavy rain has also been issued in Vidarbha and other districts including Mumbai in Maharashtra, while rain activity will be seen in more than 30 districts including four divisions of Madhya Pradesh.
Heavy rains have been predicted in the capital Bhopal, whereas in Jabalpur and Gwalior there is also an impact of changing weather. A warning of strong lightning has been issued.
Rain starts in Delhi NCR
The Meteorological Department has clarified in its forecast that significant changes will be seen in the weather in Himachal and Uttarakhand also. Heavy rain will continue in many areas today.
Yellow alert for rain has also been issued in Delhi and Uttar Pradesh. With the change in the weather, it has started raining in Delhi NCR from Saturday afternoon. .Rain continues in Uttar Pradesh and Bihar also. Rain warning has been issued again in 17 states on Sunday. A thunderstorm alert has been issued in 10 states.
Rain activity continues for four days
The people of Haryana Punjab Rajasthan have got relief. Rain activity will continue in these areas for the next four days. Rain alert has been issued in 18 districts of Bihar. Warning of heavy rain was issued in Maharashtra. An alert has been issued for the next 4 days in Uttarakhand and Himachal. Heavy rains may lead to landslides in the mountains.
The Meteorological Department said in its forecast that significant changes are being seen in the weather process. One line of monsoon has formed over Gujarat and Rajasthan while another line is forming in the form of circulation.
A low pressure area will soon form in the Bay of Bengal. Due to which heavy rain has been predicted in some districts of Madhya Pradesh, Bihar in the next 48 hours. The effect of monsoon activity will be seen in Jharkhand also. There is a possibility of rain in the central and western region including south of Jharkhand today.
Effect of pressure area forming in the Bay of Bengal with the activation of monsoon
Talking about the eastern states, heavy rain has been predicted in Assam, Meghalaya, Manipur, Nagaland, Mizoram and Arunachal Pradesh. With the activation of monsoon, the pressure area in the Bay of Bengal will also affect these states. In such a situation, landslides may occur in these areas along with rain. Strong thunderstorms have also been predicted.
An alert of heavy rain has also been issued in Royal Seema, Kerala, Karnataka, Tamil Nadu, Telangana, Orissa and Hyderabad. Moderate rain conditions will prevail in many areas of these states. The same storm and strong wind were also predicted. According to the Meteorological Department, a drop of 3 to 4% in temperature will be recorded. This process is going to continue till 18th September.
