IMD Rainfall Alert: Due to heavy snowfall in the mountains for the last several days, severe cold has started increasing in the plains. According to the weather office, haze will start increasing in the national capital Delhi and Uttar Pradesh capital Lucknow in the next five days.
Where from today, the weather condition may change slightly in isolated areas of Punjab-Haryana, UP-Bihar and the capital Delhi. Moderate to heavy rainfall has been expected in these states. In Delhi, clouds will remain visible in the sky and there may also be slight darkness in the morning.
The weather office has said that between October 22 and 27, there may be moderate to heavy rain in some parts of the Western Himalayas including Punjab, Haryana and Rajasthan. However, the weather will remain clear in Rajasthan and Gujarat till October 30. Talking about today’s weather, according to the report of Skymet Weather, there are strong chances of light to heavy rainfall at some places along with light to heavy rainfall at one or two places in Andaman and Nicobar Islands, Kerala and Tamil Nadu.
