Heavy rain for 2 days in these states

IMD has issued an alert saying that there may be very heavy rain in West Bengal, Sikkim, Assam, Meghalaya in the next two days (Weather Forecast of 5 October 2023). The department predicted exceptionally heavy rainfall in Sub-Himalayan West Bengal and Sikkim on Thursday i.e. today. In its bulletin, IMD has warned of rain in Eastern India and asked people to be alert and not go near the river.

According to the weather forecasting agency, there is a possibility of light to moderate heavy rainfall with thunder and lightning in West Bengal and Sikkim till Friday. Similar rain conditions will continue in Jharkhand and Bihar also. Apart from these, there may be heavy rain in Andaman-Nicobar Islands till Sunday.

Storm- possibility of lightning also

If we talk about North-East India (Weather Forecast of 5 October 2023), then there are chances of light to moderate widespread rainfall in Assam and Meghalaya as well as Arunachal Pradesh till Friday. According to the weather agency, the weather is expected to remain dry for the next five days in North-West and Western India (Weather Forecast of 5 October 2023). Due to this, the day temperature will remain around 35 degrees Celsius but the mercury will continue to fall at night, due to which people will feel cold at night and in the morning.
