According to the UP Meteorological Department, Shahjahanpur, Shamli, Muzaffarnagar, Bijnor, Baghpat, Meerut, Amroha, Moradabad, Ghaziabad, Hapur, Gautam Budh Nagar, Sambhal, Rampur, Bareilly, Badaun, Shahjahanpur, Pilibhit, Aligarh, Mathura, Hathras and Agra on Wednesday Yellow alert has been issued for rain with thunder and lightning. Same Rae Bareli, Amethi, Sultanpur including Fatehpur, Pratapgarh, Sultanpur, Banda, Chitrakoot, Kaushambi, Prayagraj, Sant Kabir Nagar, Jaunpur, Azamgarh, Mau, Ballia, Yellow alert has been issued for heat wave conditions in Ghazipur, Chandauli, Mirzapur, Varanasi and Sonbhadra.

- Today, the maximum temperature in the capital Lucknow can be 42 and the minimum temperature can be 26 degrees Celsius. On April 20 and 21, the maximum temperature will be recorded up to 40 degrees.
- The minimum temperature in Ghaziabad is expected to be 26 degrees and the maximum temperature is expected to be 39 degrees. Ghaziabad and Noida are likely to have partly cloudy skies on Wednesday.
- Rain activities can be seen in Ghaziabad till April 20. The temperature on April 20 can be 37 degrees.
- In Prayagraj, the maximum temperature can be 44 degree Celsius on Wednesday. It may be cloudy on Wednesday in Noida. The maximum temperature here can be 38 degree Celsius and the minimum can be 25 degree Celsius.
