- Locally maximum temperatures are expected to reach 40°C or more over Punjab, Haryana, Rajasthan, Gujarat, Uttar Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh, Maharashtra, Bihar, Jharkhand, Gangetic West Bengal, Chhattisgarh, Odisha, Telangana and Andhra Pradesh.
Scattered rain is possible over Madhya Pradesh, Telangana, Andaman-Nicobar Islands, Maharashtra and Konkan-Malabar Coast.
Rain landslide alert in eastern states

The possibility of hailstorm and storm has been expressed. The weather will last till 22 April. Snowfall will occur in the higher reaches of Chamba, Lahaul Spiti, Kinnaur, Kangra, Kullu and Shimla.
A drop of 2 to 4 percent in temperature will be recorded. Apart from this, conditions of heavy rain and snowfall will also be created in Vishalpur, Chamba, Kangra, Mandi and Shimla. Temperature will increase in 7 states
