There will be heavy rain in these areas
The Meteorological Department says that there may be heavy rain and snowfall at many places in Jammu-Kashmir, Ladakh and Himachal Pradesh today. There is a possibility of hailstorm with thunder and lightning at a few places in Punjab, Himachal Pradesh and Uttarakhand.
There is a possibility of light rain and thundershowers at many places in Haryana, Chandigarh and West Rajasthan. East Rajasthan, Konkan and Goa, Madhya Maharashtra, Marathwada may also receive scattered rains in some areas with strong wind. Orange alert has been issued for thunderstorm and hailstorm in Jammu and Kashmir, Himachal Pradesh, Uttarakhand and Punjab.
Bad weather in Delhi
There is a possibility of change in the weather pattern in Delhi as well. According to the Meteorological Department, rain activities can be seen in the capital from tomorrow for the next four days. Due to this, a drop of two to three degree Celsius in the maximum temperature can be recorded. Light to moderate rain and thundershowers are likely over the Western Himalayan region for the next five days. Punjab, Haryana, Chandigarh, Delhi and Rajasthan may receive rain and thundershowers from April 21 to 25.

Apart from this, there is a possibility of heavy rains in many areas of Uttarakhand in the next 24 hours. Along with this, an alert has been issued for torrential rains in Arunachal Pradesh till April 22.
