IMD issued an alert: Light rain occurred in parts of Delhi on Sunday, as a result of which the maximum temperature was recorded 10 degrees below normal at 28.7 degrees Celsius. The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has predicted rain in Delhi-NCR for the next three days. Due to rain, the weather has become pleasant in Delhi-NCR.



New Delhi: Rain Forecast: Light rain occurred in some parts of Delhi on Sunday, as a result of which the maximum temperature was recorded 10 degrees below normal at 28.7 degrees Celsius. The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has predicted rain in Delhi-NCR for the next three days. Due to rain, the weather has become pleasant in Delhi-NCR.

The Meteorological Department expressed the possibility of rain

The Meteorological Department has expressed the possibility of rain and hailstorm in many areas across the country till Wednesday. In a tweet, the IMD said, “Heavy to very heavy rainfall very likely over isolated areas of North-West India, Central India, South India, East India and North-East India. There is a lot of possibility of hailstorm in different areas of North-West India, Central, East India.

Heavy rains expected in Kerala

On the other hand, IMD has predicted heavy rains in Kerala for the next five days. Apart from this, the Meteorological Department has issued an ‘Orange’ alert in four districts – Pathanamthitta, Enarkulam, Idukki and Thrissur.

There will be rain with thunder in Bihar as well.

Due to this sudden change in the weather, there was a sudden change in the temperature, which brought relief to the people from the heat. According to the Meteorological Department, there is a possibility of rain with thunder in some parts of Bihar in the next two-three days.

A ‘yellow alert’ has also been issued by the Meteorological Department for thunderstorm and light rain in some parts of the state on Monday. The maximum temperature is also likely to drop by two to four degrees on May 1 and 2.

Hailstorm with rain in Madhya Pradesh

Many parts of Madhya Pradesh including Bhopal and Indore received unseasonal rain on Sunday. During this, there was hailstorm along with rain. The IMD has predicted that light to moderate rain with hailstorm and lightning is likely to continue in many parts of the state till May 4.

The Meteorological Office in Bhopal said that due to moisture from the Arabian Sea, Bay of Bengal and the activation of Western Disturbance, there will be a rainy season till the first week of May.
