IMD issued rain alert: The people of North India have got relief from the severe cold. Now mild cold is falling in the surrounding states including Delhi-NCR. There has been a lot of relief due to sunshine throughout the day. It is still very cold in the morning, evening and night. Meanwhile, the India Meteorological Department (IMD) has predicted rain in many states. Concerns have increased about this and the temperature may fall once again.
According to the IMD, the cyclonic circulation remains over northeastern Bangladesh and adjoining areas. Due to this, there may be sporadic to heavy rains in Arunachal Pradesh. During this, there is also a possibility of snowfall and lightning with thunder. Similar weather will prevail here during February 11 and 12.
The Meteorological Department has also predicted rain in Assam. According to this, there may be sporadic rainfall in Assam during 11-13th. Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram and Tripura are also going to receive rains till Wednesday. Thus, rain is expected in 6 states today and tomorrow.
The weather is also going to deteriorate in the western Himalayan region. There is a possibility of sporadic rainfall and snowfall here. If we talk about the capital Delhi, the minimum temperature recorded here on Monday was 9.7 degrees Celsius, which is 0.5 degrees less than the season’s average. The maximum temperature during the day was around 27 degrees Celsius. The Meteorological Department has predicted partly cloudy weather today.
