Weather Update Latest News: A Western Disturbance in the form of Cyclonic Circulation is in Iran and surrounding areas at lower and middle Tropospheric level. Due to this, there is a possibility of rain and snowfall in Jammu and Kashmir, Ladakh, Gilgit, Baltistan, Muzaffarabad till January 16.
There may be rain (Rain Alert) in Uttarakhand on January 15 and 16, Himachal Pradesh till January 17, Western Rajasthan, Punjab, Haryana, Chandigarh, Uttar Pradesh on January 15 and East Rajasthan on January 15 and 16.
A yellow alert has been issued regarding fog in Punjab and Himachal Pradesh and IMD has issued an orange alert of fog (Dense Fog Alert) in Haryana, Chandigarh and Delhi (Delhi NCR Weather Update). Yellow alert of fog has also been issued in Assam, Meghalaya, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram and Tripura in the North-East.
The minimum temperature (Latest Temperature Today on 15 January 2025) is below 0 degree Celsius in many parts of Jammu, Kashmir and Ladakh. The temperature in some parts of Himachal Pradesh is between 1 degree Celsius to 4 degree Celsius, in many parts of Northwest and Central India it is between 4 degree Celsius to 10 degree Celsius and in many parts of East and West India it is between 10 degree Celsius to 16 degree Celsius.
A fresh Western Disturbance may affect the Western Himalayan region from 18 January 2025. Due to this, rain and snowfall may continue in the Western Himalayan region from January 18 to January 20.
