IMD Rainfall Alert, Hail is going to fall in Rajasthan on April 28 and 29, Uttarakhand from April 29 to May 2, Himachal Pradesh, Punjab, Haryana, Chandigarh, Uttar Pradesh on May 1 and 2.
IMD Rainfall Alert, Weather Update Forecast: Heavy rains are expected to continue for the next five days in most of the states across the country. A rain alert has also been issued in the national capital Delhi and UP. A warning of hailstorm has been issued in UP on May 1 and 2. According to the Meteorological Department, a rain alert has been issued in the national capital Delhi till May 4.
At the same time, during this time the maximum temperature will also fall to 31 degree Celsius, due to which there will be great relief from the heat. It is known that for many days there was severe heat, due to which people were facing many problems. A rain alert has also been issued in UP’s capital Lucknow. Till May 4, there may be rain activities at many places in UP as well.

The Meteorological Department has told that light rain may occur at different places in Madhya Pradesh, Vidarbha, Chhattisgarh for the next five days. Hail would occur in Vidarbha on April 28-30, East Madhya Pradesh on April 28 and West Madhya Pradesh on April 30. Apart from this, Vidarbha is going to receive heavy rains on 28 and 30 April. Talking about South India, Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, Rayalaseema, Interior Karnataka, Tamil Nadu, Puducherry, Karaikal, Kerala and Mahe will see rain for the next five days.
Heavy rains will occur over Telangana on April 28-30 and North Interior Karnataka on April 28. At the same time, Telangana may receive heavy rains on April 29-30. According to the Meteorological Department, hailstorm will be seen in Odisha on April 28-30, Jharkhand and Gangetic West Bengal on April 30 and May 1. There is a possibility of heavy rains in sub-Himalayan West Bengal, Sikkim on April 29 and May 1 and in Odisha on April 30.

Talking about Northeast India, rain is going to continue here for the next five days. Heavy rains are likely over Arunachal Pradesh from April 28 to May 2, Assam and Meghalaya from April 29 to May 2 and Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram and Tripura from May 1 and 2. On the other hand, talking about the states of North West India, light to moderate rain, snowfall and thunderstorm can be seen in the states of Western Himalayan region.
At the same time, it may rain in the plains for the next three days. Hail is going to fall in Rajasthan on April 28 and 29, Uttarakhand from April 29 to May 2, Himachal Pradesh, Punjab, Haryana, Chandigarh, Uttar Pradesh on May 1 and 2. Himachal Pradesh, Jammu division is going to receive heavy rains on May 1 and 2. Whereas, parts of western India like Madhya Maharashtra, Marathwada will witness hailstorm on April 28.
