IMD Rain Alert Today: Due to sudden change in weather in different states of the country yesterday, the first rainfall of the season was recorded. In fact, the first snowfall of the season including the first snowfall of the season was also seen in Gangotri and Yamunotri of Uttarkashi.
Along with this, a huge change in temperature was also noticed. Heavy rainfall along with strong winds were also seen in many plains of North India. According to the weather office, today i.e. till 17th October, intensity of rainfall can be seen at some places in North-West India.
New Delhi weather patterns
A sudden change in the weather was also seen in the country’s capital New Delhi yesterday. Where cold winds started blowing early in the morning and minor intensity was recorded in many areas at night. Since then, the cold has started becoming more severe in Delhi. According to the Meteorological Department, there will be a period of clouds in Delhi on October 17 also and chances of normal rainfall can be recorded. At the same time, the minimum temperature here can go beyond 20 degrees and the maximum temperature can go beyond 31 degrees.
Weather pattern of Uttar Pradesh
According to the weather office, the minimum temperature recorded today in Lucknow, the capital of Uttar Pradesh, can be 21 degrees and the maximum temperature can be recorded 34 degrees. Along with this, clouds are going to be seen in the sky in the famous form in Lucknow. If we talk about Ghaziabad, today the minimum temperature can be recorded at 21 degrees and the maximum temperature can be recorded at 30 degrees. Along with this, Ghaziabad will be partly cloudy and one or two rainfall activities along with thunderstorms will be seen.
Weather patterns of other states
According to the forecast released by weather forecasting agency Skymet, there may be light to normal rainfall and snowfall in the Western Himalayas today. Along with this, moderate to heavy rainfall may be recorded at isolated places in Tamil Nadu, Kerala, Lakshadweep and Coastal Karnataka. Here, in Punjab, Haryana and Rajasthan, there are strong chances of hailstorm in some areas along with very light to extremely heavy rainfall.
