The Meteorological Department has predicted heavy rain and light wind in many districts of Bihar till March 20. The weather is showing its colors. On Friday morning, thunderstorms and hailstorm caused havoc in many districts of North Bihar. Because of which the farmers have suffered huge losses. On the other hand, on Saturday also, the alert of hail and rain continues in many districts including the capital Patna.
Alert issued in 23 districts
The Meteorological Department has issued an alert in 23 districts of Bihar. No change will be seen in the weather of Bihar till the coming 20th March. There are chances of cold and rain till March 20. The Meteorological Department has issued an alert in the districts of Gopalganj, Siwan, Gaya, Rohtas, Arwal, Begusarai, Nalanda, Lakhisarai, Jehanabad, Madhubani, Vaishali, etc., including the capital Patna.
Along with this, Orange Alert has also been issued in some districts. At the same time, due to the effect of active western disturbance, there is a possibility of dense clouds for the next 5 days. Lightning alert is also issued by the Meteorological Department.
Two people died due to falling
In Madhubani and in Gopalganj, two people died due to falling. Phulparas of Madhubani and Kuchayakot of Gopalganj died due to cold on Friday. The identity of the deceased was Vijay Kumar Saroj, a resident of Etawah village located in Fulparas police station area, Baika village, and two people were injured. Along with this, Pushpa Devi, wife of Lalan Jhi Manjhi, a resident of Jharkhand’s Ranchi district, died due to lightning in Mahuwa village in Gopalganj.
