Heavy Rain Alert: The Meteorological Department of India has issued a press release and given important information. Rains can be heavy in many parts of the country and strong winds can also blow.
On April 1 and 2, there may be rain with thunder and strong winds at a speed of 30 to 60 kmph in Madhya Pradesh, Vidarbha, Chhattisgarh, Gujarat state and Rayalaseema. From March 31 to April 2, Maharashtra, Tamil Nadu, Puducherry, Karaikal, Kerala, Mahe, Karnataka, coastal Andhra Pradesh and Yanam may also receive rain with strong winds (Weather update latest news).
On April 1 and April 2, hailstorms may also occur in western Madhya Pradesh, Vidarbha, central Maharashtra, Marathwada and northern interior Karnataka, and on April 2 in eastern Madhya Pradesh and coastal Karnataka.
