According to IMD, there is a possibility of heavy rain in Uttarakhand, Jammu Division, Himachal Pradesh, Punjab, Haryana on Monday. Along with this, there is a possibility of heavy rain in Manipur, Mizoram, Tripura, Assam, Meghalaya till September 21.
Weather Update Today: Due to active monsoon and weather systems formed at different places, the Indian Meteorological Department has issued a warning of heavy rain in more than a dozen states on Monday. According to IMD, today on September 18, there are chances of heavy rains in MP and Gujarat and heavy rains in North UP.
Apart from this, there is a possibility of heavy rain in Uttarakhand, Jammu Division, Himachal Pradesh, Punjab, Haryana, while heavy rain may continue in Manipur, Mizoram, Tripura, Assam, Meghalaya till September 21. Similar weather patterns will remain in many parts of the country for the coming few days.
According to Skymet Weather report, the next round of rain in Delhi-NCR is likely to occur around September 23 or 24. Today on Monday, light to moderate rain may occur in Andaman and Nicobar Islands, Tamil Nadu, Kerala and Konkan and Goa along with heavy rain at some places.
Manipur, Mizoram, Tripura, Odisha, Jharkhand and Himachal Pradesh, Uttarakhand, North Punjab. Light to moderate rain is likely over Haryana, Interior Tamil Nadu, South Interior Karnataka and Lakshadweep. Apart from this, there is a possibility of light rain in Vidarbha, Central Maharashtra, Coastal Andhra Pradesh and North East India.

- There will be a change in the weather of Uttar Pradesh from Tuesday, due to which there will be light to moderate rain in 2 dozen districts including Lucknow. Today on September 18, heavy rain is expected in North Uttar Pradesh.
- Heavy rains are expected in Mizoram, Assam, Meghalaya, Manipur till September 21.
- There is a possibility of heavy rain in Himachal Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Jammu Division, Haryana, Punjab .
- Red alert has been issued in Gujarat for Monday-Tuesday, during which moderate to heavy rain is expected in many parts of the state.
- Today, ‘Orange’ alert has been issued for Sirohi Jalore, Udaipur, Pali, Barmer, Rajsamand, and Dungarpur districts of Rajasthan and ‘Yellow alert’ has been issued for Jaisalmer, Banswara, Chittorgarh, Pratapgarh, Bikaner, Jodhpur districts.
- Today , light to moderate rain may occur over Andaman and Nicobar Islands, Tamil Nadu, Kerala and Konkan and Goa with heavy rain at some places.
- Light to moderate rain is likely over Manipur, Mizoram, Tripura, Odisha, Jharkhand and Himachal Pradesh, Uttarakhand, North Punjab, Haryana, Interior Tamil Nadu, South Interior Karnataka and Lakshadweep.
- Light rain is likely over Vidarbha, Central Maharashtra, Coastal Andhra Pradesh and North East India.
- Due to a low pressure over Southeast Rajasthan and adjoining Western Madhya Pradesh, there is a possibility of light to heavy rain in Gujarat and Rajasthan today.
- Light to moderate rain is expected over Tamil Nadu, Kerala, Konkan , Goa and Andaman and Nicobar Islands with heavy rain at some places.
- There is a possibility of light drizzle in Delhi. Fluctuations in temperature will continue. The next round of rain in Delhi-NCR may be seen around 23rd or 24th September.
- Rain will continue in Punjab till September 20. There is a possibility of light to moderate to heavy rain, thunderstorm and lightning in Uttarakhand, Western Madhya Pradesh, North Konkan, Gujarat, South Rajasthan, Saurashtra and Kutch.
- Thunderstorm, lightning and light to moderate to heavy rain is likely over Odisha and Andaman and Nicobar Islands.
- Light to heavy rain with thunderstorm and lightning may occur over Sub-Himalayan West Bengal and Sikkim on September 20 and 21, Gangetic West Bengal on September 19 and 20, Jharkhand on September 21.
- There is a possibility of heavy rain in Sub Himalayan West Bengal and Sikkim on September 21.
- Light to moderate to heavy rainfall with thundershowers is expected in Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram, Tripura and Arunachal Pradesh during September 18 to 21.
