IMD Rain Alert: The heat is gradually increasing in UP. The capital Lucknow has now started getting quite hot. However, the weather of the state can change suddenly during three days. During this period, an alert has been issued for rain and strong winds.
IMD Rain Alert: Uttar Pradesh has suddenly started experiencing May-like heat in the month of March. People have already started getting troubled by the heat. There is bright sunshine during the day. This is the reason why the heat is gradually increasing in the state. At the same time, the weather of the state can change completely during the next 72 hours. During this time, an alert has been issued for rain, thunder, lightning and strong winds. However, the weather is expected to clear in the state from March 23. But the weather of the state is going to be pleasant on March 20 and 21.
There is a possibility of rain and thundershowers at some places in the state on March 20. During this period, there is a possibility of thunder and lightning along with strong winds blowing at a speed of 30 to 40 km per hour. According to the Meteorological Department, there may be thunder and lightning along with strong gusts of wind blowing at a speed of 30 to 40 km per hour in Banda, Chitrakoot, Kaushambi, Prayagraj, Pratapgarh, Sonbhadra, Mirzapur and Chandauli districts.
Along with this, there is a possibility of thunder and lightning along with strong winds blowing at a speed of 30 to 40 km per hour in Jaunpur, Varanasi, Sant Ravidas Nagar, Ghazipur, Azamgarh, Mau, Ballia, Saharanpur, Shamli and Muzaffarnagar.
In the same sequence, there is a possibility of strong gusts of wind blowing in Baghpat, Meerut, Ghaziabad, Hapur, Gautam Buddha Nagar, Bulandshahr, Aligarh, Madhura, Hathras, Agra, Bijnor and its surrounding areas. There is a possibility of rain in both the parts of the state on March 21. While an alert has been issued for rain in eastern UP on March 22.
