On 5th and 6th April, there has been a warning of strong winds and rain at a speed of 40 to 50 kmph along with thunderstorms in Kerala, Karnataka, Andhra Pradesh, Tamil Nadu and Andaman and Nicobar Islands. Along with this, from 5th April to 9th April, there may be rain with strong winds in Northeast India and from 7th April to 9th April in Bihar, Odisha, West Bengal and Jharkhand.
The Indian Meteorological Department has also issued an alert about hailstorm in Assam and Meghalaya on 5 April 2025 and 6 April and in Bihar on 8 April.
A new Western Disturbance may come in the western Himalayan region from 8 April 2025. Due to this, a warning (Weather update latest news) has been given for strong winds and rain at a speed of 30 to 40 km per hour along with thunderstorms in Jammu and Kashmir, Ladakh, Himachal Pradesh and Uttarakhand from 8 April to 11 April.
