Latest Rain Alert: The Meteorological Department of India has issued a heavy rain warning (Rain Alert) in 10 states from October 12 to 16. A yellow alert has been issued for heavy rains in Tamil Nadu, Kerala, Karnataka, Goa, Maharashtra, Arunachal Pradesh and Gujarat on October 12.

According to the Meteorological Department report, the Southwest Monsoon may withdraw from Gujarat, Madhya Pradesh, Uttar Pradesh and parts of Maharashtra, Bihar and Jharkhand within 1 or 2 days.

The IMD has predicted heavy rains in Tamil Nadu and Puducherry till October 15, in Kerala in the coming 6 days and in Andhra Pradesh from October 14 to 16 and in Karnataka on October 14. Rain is also expected in Kerala and Mahe on October 13 and 14.

The weather agency has also predicted heavy rains in Arunachal Pradesh till October 12. Heavy rains are likely at isolated places over Konkan and Goa and Gujarat region till October 13, the weather department said in its weather bulletin. Madhya Maharashtra is likely to receive rain on October 12 and Saurashtra and Kutch from October 11 to 13.

The Regional Meteorological Center in Delhi has predicted clear skies till October 16. The maximum temperature in the national capital (Delhi NCR Weather Update) is expected to be around 35 degrees Celsius while the minimum temperature will be around 22 degrees Celsius.
