Rain Alert: According to meteorologists, the effect of changing weather can remain till the first week of April.
The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has warned of significant changes in the weather in different parts of the country in the coming days.
According to IMD, maximum temperatures in northwest India are likely to rise by 3-5°C by April 2, intensifying the heatwave.
Apart from this, rain and hailstorms may occur in Maharashtra, Karnataka, Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh and Odisha for the next 4-5 days.
Sudden change in weather in these states can affect crops and public life.
There is a possibility of heat wave conditions in Saurashtra and Kutch of Gujarat today and tomorrow.
IMD has advised people to be cautious of extreme heat and take necessary precautions.
