The maximum temperature at Delhi’s Safdarjung Meteorological Center has usually been three to four degrees below normal. On Wednesday also, bright sunshine came out in most parts of Delhi since morning. Due to this, the maximum temperature increased rapidly.

The maximum temperature recorded at Delhi’s Safdarjung weather station was 33.5 degrees Celsius, which is 4.6 degrees above normal. The minimum temperature was 17.2 degrees, which is 2.1 degrees above normal. The humidity level here ranged from 92 to 28 percent. The Meteorological Department estimates that the effect of a western disturbance will be seen on Delhi’s weather in the next three days. Due to this, the maximum temperature is expected to drop by up to three degrees Celsius.

Capital’s air continuously in poor category

Delhi’s air is continuously in the poor category due to various weather factors. According to the Central Pollution Control Board, Delhi’s average air quality index was 228 points on Wednesday. Air of this level is kept in the poor category. The air quality level is likely to remain around this in the next two days as well.

How will the weather be in the next seven days

According to the Meteorological Department’s forecast, there may be rain in many areas of Delhi-NCR with thunder and storm on Thursday. It will be partly cloudy on Friday and Saturday. There are chances of light rain during this time. The sky will remain cloudy on Sunday as well. The weather will change on Monday and there will be bright sunshine. It will be sunny on Tuesday and Wednesday. Due to which the temperature will rise once again.
