IMD Rainfall Alert: Big news! Rain in these states for the next four days, know details immediately

The Meteorological Department has issued an alert for light rain and snowfall in the western Himalayan regions for March 3 and 4. At the same time, there is a possibility of light rain in Maharashtra, Southern Madhya Pradesh, Gujarat from March 5 to March 7 i.e. for three days, which can provide some relief from the heat.

Talking about the weather of the last 24 hours, the maximum temperature in Punjab, Haryana, North Rajasthan, Uttar Pradesh and North Madhya Pradesh was recorded between 29-34 degree Celsius. The temperature is three to five degrees higher than the average. Gujarat, Vidarbha, Marathwada, South Konkan, Goa, Coastal Karnataka and North Kerala recorded maximum temperatures ranging between 36-39°C,

Which is two to five degree Celsius more than average. At the same time, there was light to moderate rain and snowfall in Jammu-Kashmir, Ladakh, Gilgit-Baltistan, Muzaffarabad. Apart from this, rain was also seen in some parts of Himalayan West Bengal-Sikkim, Arunachal Pradesh and Madhya Pradesh.

The Meteorological Department has told that due to Western Disturbance Indian, light rain and snowfall can be recorded at some places in the next two days in Jammu-Kashmir, Himachal Pradesh, Uttarakhand. At the same time, light rain can be recorded in some areas of East Rajasthan, West Madhya Pradesh, Western parts of Gujarat. According to IMD, heatwave conditions have been recorded at two places in Coastal Karnataka. The maximum temperature here has been 39 degrees.

The India Meteorological Department (IMD) said the maximum temperature in Delhi is expected to be around 32 degrees Celsius on Friday. The department has predicted strong surface winds during the day.

According to the IMD, the overall air quality index (AQI) in the national capital at 9 am on Friday was recorded at 161, which falls in the ‘moderate’ category. An AQI between 0 and 50 is considered ‘good’, 51 and 100 ‘satisfactory’, 101 and 200 ‘moderate’, 201 and 300 ‘poor’, 301 and 400 ‘very poor’ and Between 401 and 500 is considered ‘severe’.
