IMD Rainfall Alert: Heat has started increasing in North India these days. The maximum temperature is continuously increasing, but rain warning has still been issued in some areas. The Meteorological Department has said that there is going to be heavy rain in Eastern and Central India from 16 to 20 March i.e. for the next five days. Apart from this, warning of thunderstorm and lightning has also been issued at many places.
IMD Rainfall Alert: Talking about the weather in the last 24 hours, it rained in Arunachal Pradesh and Himachal Pradesh. At the same time, light to moderate rain has also been recorded in Gangetic West Bengal, Assam, Meghalaya, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram, Tripura, Odisha, Bihar, Chhattisgarh, Coastal Andhra Pradesh, Tamil Nadu, Telangana and Kerala.

Apart from this, there will be heavy rain in Odisha, Chhattisgarh on March 19.
At the same time, an alert of light rain and snowfall has been issued in sub-Himalayan West Bengal and Sikkim on March 16, 18 and 19. Telangana, Coastal Andhra Pradesh, Yanam are going to receive rain on March 16-20, Kerala on March 17 and 18. At the same time, rain forecast has been issued in Arunachal Pradesh, Assam, Meghalaya, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram, Tripura between March 16-22.
A new Western Disturbance is going to hit the Western Himalayan region again on March 18, due to which the weather patterns in North India are going to change. There are indications of rain and snowfall in Jammu and Kashmir, Ladakh on March 18 and March 20-22, Himachal Pradesh on March 21 and 11 and Uttarakhand on March 22. Apart from this, the maximum temperature in Jharkhand, Chhattisgarh, Bihar, West Bengal, East Vidarbha, Telangana, Tamil Nadu remains two to three degrees Celsius above average. Hot and humid weather is expected to continue in Tamil Nadu, Puducherry, Karaikal for the next two days. Similar weather is going to prevail in Kerala, Mahe and Rayalaseema for the next five days. The maximum temperature in North-West India is going to increase by two to four degrees Celsius in the next four to five days, due to which the heat is also likely to increase.
