IMD Rainfall Alert: A new Western Disturbance is going to knock from February 8, due to which there is going to be rain in the western Himalayan regions between February 8-12. The weather will change after the next 24 hours in Northwest India and Maharashtra and the minimum temperature will increase by three degrees.

IMD Rainfall Alert, Weather Update: The cold has almost gone from North India. There is strong sunlight during the day, but the weather is going to change in the hilly states. A new Western Disturbance is going to come on February 8, due to which a new round of rain will come in the western Himalayan regions from February 8-12 i.e. for five days. Talking about the last 24 hours, dense fog was seen in Himachal Pradesh, Western Madhya Pradesh, Meghalaya, Odisha, while there was frost in Uttarakhand. At the same time, rain and snowfall were seen in Jammu and Kashmir, Ladakh, Himachal Pradesh, Uttarakhand.

According to the Meteorological Department, Arunachal Pradesh, Assam will receive rain on February 6 and 7. At the same time, a new Western Disturbance is going to knock from February 8, due to which there is going to be rain in the western Himalayan regions between February 8-12. The weather will change after the next 24 hours in North West India and Maharashtra and the minimum temperature will increase by three degrees. The minimum temperature in Central India is going to fall by two to three degrees Celsius in the next three days.

Apart from this, the minimum temperature in Eastern India will fall by three to five degrees Celsius in the next two days. At the same time, the minimum temperature in Gujarat is expected to increase by three degrees in the next two days. Talking about fog, dense fog will be seen in Himachal Pradesh, Odisha till February 8. Apart from this, cold wave conditions are going to prevail in Himachal Pradesh, Rajasthan on February 6.

Cold wave continues in many areas of Rajasthan

The period of winter continues in many parts of Rajasthan. In the last 24 hours, cold wave was recorded at many places in Jaipur and Kota divisions. According to the Meteorological Department, during this time the minimum temperature was recorded at 02.8 degrees Celsius in Fatehpur of Sikar district. Apart from this, the minimum temperature was 3.5 degrees in Sikar, 3.8 degrees in Nagaur and Lunkaransar, 4.4 degrees in Karauli, 5.1 degrees in Dausa and 5.2 degrees in Sangaria. Minimum temperature was recorded below 10 degrees at many places across the state. The maximum and minimum temperatures in the capital Jaipur were recorded at 24.9 degrees and 10.4 degrees Celsius respectively.
