Light rain likely on Friday
The relative humidity rate was recorded at 76 per cent at 8.30 am. An IMD official said, “There is a possibility of light rain and strong wind on Friday. The sky will be generally cloudy.
Delhi and other parts of North-West India have not received much rain in the last few days as a ‘Monsoon Trough’ (Low-Pressure Area) persists over the central part of the country.
Light rain was recorded at Safdarjung, Lodhi Road, Palam, Ayanagar, Ridge and Najafgarh weather stations in the city on Thursday.

Forecast agencies say that there is a possibility of light to moderate rain in the city for a few days from Saturday. According to the data of the Central Pollution Control Board (CPCB), the air quality in Delhi remained in the ‘satisfactory’ category on Friday morning.
The Air Quality Index (AQI) was recorded at 59 at 9.30 am. AQI between zero and 50 is ‘good’, 51 to 100 ‘satisfactory’, 101 to 200 ‘moderate’, 201 to 300 ‘poor’, 301 to 400 ‘very poor’ and Between 401 and 500 is considered ‘serious’.
