At the same time, an alert has been issued for snowfall in hilly areas. According to IMD, light to moderate rain is expected in some areas of Delhi, Uttar Pradesh and Haryana in these two days. During this time, strong winds of 30-40 km/h are also expected to blow. According to the Meteorological Department, after the rain on Thursday, people may have to face heavy rain along with strong storm on 28 and 1 March, due to which a drop in maximum mercury will be recorded.
There may be rain in these areas of Delhi
IMD said that there is a possibility of rain in Narela, Bawana, Alipur, Burari, Kanjhawala, Rohini, Badili, Pitampura, Seemapuri, Mundka, Jafarpur, Najafgarh of the national capital Delhi. Apart from this, there may be rain in Loni Dehat, Hindon Air Force Station, Saharanpur, Gangoh, Deoband, Najibabad, Shamli, Muzaffarnagar, Kandhla, Bijnor, Khatauli, Sakauti Tanda, Hastinapur, Chandpur, Baraut, Daurala, Baghpat, Meerut, Khekra and Modinagar of Uttar Pradesh.

Along with this, IMD has also predicted rain in many districts of Haryana. IMD said that light to moderate rain is expected at some places in Bahadurgarh, Kurukshetra, Kaithal, Karnal, Rajound, Assandh, Safidon, Jind, Panipat, Gohana, Ganaur, Hansi, Meham, Sonipat, Tosham, Rohtak, Kharkhoda, Bhiwani, Charkhi Dadri, Mattanhail, Jhajjar in Haryana. During this time, strong winds are expected to blow at a speed of 30 to 40 km / h.
Thunderstorm and hailstorm in western UP and Haryana
At the same time, there is a possibility of lightning, hailstorm, strong winds (30-40 km per hour) and heavy rain along with thunderstorm in Haryana and western Uttar Pradesh. Also, very heavy rainfall (up to 12 cm) with lightning, hailstorm, strong winds (30-40 kmph) along with thunderstorms are likely in Uttarakhand and Punjab and very heavy rainfall (up to 20 cm) in Himachal Pradesh till the morning of 01 March 2025.
