Pensioners have to go to the bank, post office or your office one day in a year and tell that they are alive and their pension should be continued. After retirement, many people have to face a lot of difficulties in walking. Still, pensioners have to face this problem once or twice in a year. But we are going to tell you about the digital life certificate. After which the pensioners will not have to go to any office and give proof of their survival. Rather, your certificate will be generated digitally with the help of Aadhar card. Let’s know about Digital Life Certificate….

After all, what is Digital Life Certificate – It is actually a Biometric Enabled Aadhaar Best Digital Life Certificate. Which can be generated for individual pensioners using their Aadhaar number and biometrics. In such a situation, the pensioners do not need to appear before the Pension Disbursing Officer for the life certificate. Because this life certificate is available digitally and is generated through an automatic process. In which pensioners have a unique ID called Pramaan-ID.

Proof ID will have to be generated first – For this you have to download the Jeevan Pramaan app and go to the register as a new user option and fill your Aadhaar, name, bank account, pension payment order and other details. After which an OTP will be generated. Which will come on your registered mobile number. After filling the OTP and Aadhaar number, click on the submit option and your proof ID will be generated.

How to Generate Life Certificate Online – After the Praman ID is generated, login to the app through another OTP. Then click on Generate Jeevan Pramaan option and enter Aadhaar and Mobile Number. After this, you will get the option to enter the PPO number, name of the distribution agency and other details. After filling it, the pensioners’ fingerprint and iris will be scanned using Aadhaar data. After this, your life certificate will be displayed on the screen and a confirmation message will be sent to the registered mobile of the pensioner through SMS .

Such certificate will have to be submitted – Pensioners can submit their life certificate through the website or app of https://jeevanpramaan.gov.in . But before that pensioners have to register on this website. Along with this, Aadhaar number, pension payment order or PPO, bank account number, bank name and mobile number will have to be filled.

Deposit DLC from Doorstep Banking – Jeevan Pramaan can also be submitted by Doorstep Banking, which is an alliance among 12 government banks. State Bank of India, Bank of Baroda, Punjab National Bank and others are part of this alliance. To avail the Doorstep Banking service, you need to download the Doorstep Banking app on your mobile phone from Google Playstore, or visit the website https://doorstepbanks.com/ .

Postman Se Bhi Hoga Kaam Hoga – To make this process easier, the Department of Posts in association with the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology in November last year launched a doorstep service for submission of digital life certificates through postman. In this process the pensioner has to download the postinfo. It is a chargeable service and is available to all Central Government pensioners across the country.
