7th Pay Commission: Can family pension be given to more than one person at a time? This is a question that is constantly creating doubts in the minds of people. Because in general, family pension is available to one person at a time. But under some rules, family pension can be given to more than one person. Let us know what those rules are –
1- If there is more than one widow, but this rule will not apply to Hindus. Because under the Hindu Marriage Act, if a Hindu person marries another, he will have to divorce first.
2- Widow woman and child are paid separately.
3- The children of two or more pre-deceased wives also get equal pension.
4- Twin children also have the right to pension.

In all these circumstances, the share of family pension will be distributed among the family members on the death of the spouse.
Let us tell you that this month the Central Government announced to increase the DA and DR of the employees by 11 percent. For which an order has also been issued now. Its direct benefit will be 48 lakh central employees and 65 lakh pensioners. After the central government, the state governments of Rajasthan and Haryana have also announced to increase DA.
