The Ministry of Electronics and IT has shared important information on Aadhar card updation and Aadhar-PAN linking. The ministry said that some Aadhaar-related services were stopped due to necessary security updation in the UIDAI system. But now they have been restarted.
According to the Ministry of Electronics and IT, ‘All services are stable and working properly. There has been no interruption in the Aadhaar-PAN/EPFO linking facility, which is an authentication based facility.

Along with this, if you are thinking of linking Aadhaar-PAN online, then you can do so without any hindrance. Here are the ways to link Aadhar PAN:-
- Open the website of Income Tax Department
- https://www.incometaxindiaefiling.gov.in/home
- Click on ‘Link Aadhar’ in the Quick Links section on the left
- A new interface will open in front of you
- Enter your PAN, Aadhar number and your name on Aadhar
- If only the year of birth is mentioned in your Aadhaar, then you have to tick this option ‘I have only year of birth in Aadhaar card’
- After that enter the captcha code
- Click on Link Aadhaar
- After doing this a confirmation page will open in front of you.
- In this, it will be told that your PAN has been linked with Aadhaar.
It is mandatory to link PAN with Aadhaar by September 30. Otherwise your PAN will become inactive. At the same time, updation in Aadhar card is very important. This is the reason that many works remain incomplete without it, whether it is government schemes or the admission of a child in school.
