What happens if money is sent to the wrong account?

According to the bank, in this case the bank is not responsible. Customers are requested to verify the beneficiary’s account details before making any digital transfer. Also keep in mind that the bank will not be responsible for the wrong transaction done by the customer. However, the customer’s home branch can follow up with another bank without any responsibility. For further assistance in this regard, please contact your home branch and/or the beneficiary’s bank.

For this, it is most important that whenever you check the account details of the beneficiary before doing any transaction and after that, at the time of the last process of transfer of money, you must also see the name of the beneficiary in the summary.
