From July 1, many changes have been implemented in different sectors. This includes changes from withdrawing cash from the bank to getting a driving license. New rules on SBI BSBD account
New rules have been implemented on SBI’s Basic Savings Account Deposit Account (BSBD). Under this, it will be free to withdraw money from ATM or bank branch only 4 times. After that the charge will have to be paid. 15 rupees and GST will have to be paid for withdrawing cash after 4 times. In the case of check book services, the first 10 leaves in a financial year will be given free of charge. After this, Rs 40 plus GST will have to be paid for 10 leaf check book, Rs 75 plus GST for 25 leaf check book and Rs 50 plus GST for 10 leaf emergency check book. However, this rule will not be applicable for senior citizen customers for check books.
IDBI Bank changed many charges
There has been a change in IDBI Bank’s check book charge, savings account charge and locker charge. The bank has made changes in the check leaf charge, savings account charge and locker charge from July 1. Customers will get free check books of only 20 leaves every year.
Syndicate Bank New IFSC Code
Syndicate Bank customers will now have to get a new IFSC code. The existing IFSC of Syndicate Bank branches will work only till June 30, 2021. The new IFSC will be applicable from 1st July 2021. Syndicate Bank has been merged with Canara Bank with effect from 1st April 2020.
Axis Bank will charge on SMS
Axis Bank is going to change the SMS alert service charges from July 1. Under this, now customers will have to pay a higher price. According to Axis Bank, from July 1, 2021, customers will be charged 25 paise and a maximum of Rs 25 per month for every SMS alert. This does not include the OTP sent for promotional and transaction authentication.
Higher TDS for not filing return
After the implementation of Finance Act 2021, some important changes have been made in TDS. In this, if income tax return has not been filed for 2 years, then TDS will have to be paid at 5%. Earlier TDS was 0.10%. This rate of TDS will be applicable if the deduction exceeds 50 thousand for 2 years.
