How to register for this scheme?
You have to register to avail the benefit of Pradhan Mantri Ujwal Yojana. A woman from the BPL family, who is more than 18 years old, can apply for the scheme. You can apply by visiting pmujjwalayojana.com or go to your nearest LPG centre and fill the form. The name of the woman applying in the form will have to be addressed, Jan Dhan Bank account number, Aadhaar number. You can choose a cylinder of 14.2 kg or 5 kg. You can also opt for EMI. Let me tell you that the EMI amount is adjusted to the subsidy on the cylinder.
These documents will be needed
To avail this scheme, you should have BPL ration card, BPL card, Aadhaar card or voter ID card, a photograph, Jan Dhan account or bank account. That is where you should have a LIC policy. The same woman of a family will get the benefit of the scheme.
