The Union Road Transport and Highways Ministry has made an important announcement related to driving license. The Ministry of Road Transport and Highways on Sunday extended the validity of Driving License (DL) and other vehicle related documents like RC, Permit and Fitness Certificate till 31 March 2021. This decision will be applicable for those documents whose validity is expiring between 1 February 2020 to 31 March 2021. Or it is done. This has increased the validity of their documents.
This decision has been taken in view of the increasing cases of Corona. The ministry said that such documents would be considered valid till 31 March 2021. The ministry said that this will help citizens to avail services related to transport while maintaining social security.
