Addressing a function organized to award certificates to the top 10 best performing Ministries and Divisions, he said, “Initially we wanted to bring about a quick change through revolutionary steps, but later realized that our system was going through a shock. was unable to bear it.”

The Prime Minister further said that the government and the ministries have not given the desired results. “The biggest problem is that there is no relation between the government and the interest of the country,” he said. He asked, “Are our ministries demonstrating how to stabilize the country by increasing exports and how the condition of the people can be improved, how poverty can be eradicated?” Khan said increasing exports, finding import substitution and reducing poverty are important areas of national interest.
He stressed the need to establish a system of reward and punishment and said that reforms have been made regarding the powers of the National Accountability Bureau, allowing bureaucrats to take the initiative. He said that after streamlining the NAB, now the bureaucrats have no excuse for not signing the pending files.
