Income Tax Deadline: Dispute to Vishwas Scheme is also known as VSV 2.0. This scheme was started on 1 October 2024, under which you can settle tax pending cases till 22 July 2024.

Income Tax Deadline: The Central Board of Direct Taxes (CBDT) has fixed the deadline for filing the declaration for Direct Tax Dispute to Vishwas Scheme 2024. If you are also a taxpayer and come under the purview of this scheme, then you should file your declaration by 30 April 2025. CBDT has issued a circular regarding this deadline.

What is Dispute to Vishwas Scheme

CBDT has started the Dispute to Vishwas Scheme for the convenience of taxpayers, it is a government scheme, in which the ongoing disputes between the Income Tax Department and the taxpayers will be resolved. In this scheme, taxpayers get an opportunity to settle their old tax disputes and avoid all kinds of legal maneuvers. By doing this, the Income Tax Department also does not take any legal action against the taxpayers.
