7 November

November 7 is the date for deposit of tax deducted or collected in the month of October. However, the payment of all tax deducted or taken by any office of the Government will be deposited in the account of the Central Government on the same day where the tax is paid. Income tax challan will not have to be paid for this.

14 November

This is the due date for issuance of TDS certificate for tax deducted under section 194-IA, section 194-IB, section 194M and section 194S in the month of September, 2023.

Nov 15

This is the last date for submission of quarterly TDS certificates in respect of tax deducted from payments other than salary for the quarter ending September 30, 2023. This is also the due date for submission of Form 24G by a government office where TDS has been paid without challan for the month of October, 2023. Apart from this, taxpayers will also have to furnish details in Form No. 3 BB to the Stock Exchange in respect of those transactions in which the customer code has been updated after registration in the system for the month of October, 2023.

30 November

This is the due date for furnishing challan cum details in respect of tax deducted under section 194-IA, section 194-IB, section 194M and section 194S in the month of October, 2023. If a report under section 92E is required to be submitted in case of international or certain domestic transactions, the return of income for assessment year 2023-24 should be filed by 30 November. Regarding the earnings during the previous FY 2022-23, the details of earnings from the venture capital company or venture capital fund i.e. Form No. 64 will also have to be submitted on the same date. Apart from this, the income received by the unit holders on behalf of Alternative Investment Fund (AIF) should be submitted to the Principal CIT or CIT in Form No. 64D by 30th November. Apart from this, the due date for availing the option of safe port rules for international transactions by submitting Form 3CEFA is 30th November.
