The Income Tax Department has released vacancies for many important posts, including the posts of Multi Tasking Staff, Income Tax Inspector and Tax Assistant. The last date to apply for these posts is 18 April 2022.

Income Tax Department has released the notification for various important posts including Multi Tasking Staff (MTS), Income Tax Inspector and Tax Assistant posts. Often these posts are recruited through the examinations of SSC MTS and SSC CGL, but this time the Income Tax Department has recruited these posts through sports quota. All talented players should apply for these posts as soon as possible. Candidates will have to apply for these posts offline only. The last date to apply has been fixed as 18 April 2022.
Income Tax Department has released a total of 24 vacancies. Of these, 18 vacancies are for the posts of MTS. While 5 vacancies are of Tax Assistant and 1 Income Tax Inspector.
If we talk about the maximum age limit
Then the maximum age limit has been fixed at 25 years to apply for the posts of MTS, 30 years for Income Tax Inspector and 27 years to apply for the posts of Tax Assistant. However, age relaxation will be given to the unreserved category candidates as per the rules of the government.
Educational Qualification:
To apply for the post of MTS, it is mandatory for the candidates to be 10th pass. Whereas, to apply for the post of Income Tax Inspector, the candidate should have done graduation from any recognized university. To apply for the post of Tax Assistant, it is mandatory for the candidate to be a graduate and also the typing speed for data entry should be 8000 key depressions per hour.
Selection Process
Candidates will be selected after shortlisting the applications. In this, the physical fitness test of each candidate will be taken and their skill test will also be there.
