If you are interested in opening new LPG agency. So, do you know how many types of dealerships there are? If not, the information is given below.
Shahari Vitrak – Under this type of distributor will deliver only urban area and will be strictly restricted within the municipal limits.
Gramin Vitrak – This type of LPG gas distributor delivers only in rural areas.
Durgam Regional Distributor (DKV) –Distributors under DKV dealership deliver to highly rural locations, hilly areas, forested areas, islands and mostly sparsely populated areas
Eligibility and Criteria for Opening New LPG Dealership :-
- Applicant should be an Indian citizen
- Applicant must have passed class 10 exam
- Applicant should be mentally and physically fit to run this business
- Applicant age should be between 21 to 60 years
- Note – Those who apply under Freedom Fighter category need not follow this age limit restriction.
- The family members of any oil company employee cannot apply for dealership .
- The applicant needs sufficient land for the facility of LPG godown
- LPG godown should be approved by PESO
Urban and Rurban Distributor : –
- The storage capacity of the godown should be minimum 8000 kg
- The minimum dimension of the plot should be 25*30 meters
Rural Distributors :
- The storage capacity of the godown should be minimum 5000 kg.
- The minimum dimension of the plot should be 21*26 meters
- Note – In Shehari, Rurban and Gram dealerships, there is an additional requirement of land for the showroom. The minimum limit of showroom size is 3*4.5 metres.
Durgam Regional Distributors :
- Minimum storage capacity should be 3000 kgs
- The minimum dimension of the plot should be 15*16 meters

- Registration form will open
- After clicking on Generate OTP, you will see these additional options
- Enter the OTP you received, you click on the “Send” button
- After successful account creation, you will see this

- After successful submission, you will see the acknowledgment
- Note the reference number given in the acceptance
- After applying, the candidate will get the receipt of application submission and application fee.
- After that the candidate will be informed about the venue, date and time of the draw for the gas agency
- Selected applicant must submit required documents and applicable security within 7 days of selection.
