Sahibganj, Jnn. A large crowd has gathered in Dihari village of Sahibganj district to pay their last respects to their valiant son Shaheed Kundan Kumar Ojha. Kundan’s body is placed on a platform constructed by the army near his house. People are arriving in Huzum to pay tribute. Before this a very emotional scene was seen when the body of the martyr reached his village Dihari. When the martyr’s father Ravi Shankar Ojha was taken to see the body of the son, he started shouting slogans of Bharat Mata Ki Jai… Bharat Mata Ki Jai… waving hands in the air. The martyr will be cremated in a bit. Preparations are underway.
Martyr 16- The dead body of Kundan Lal Ojha, a soldier of the Bihar Regiment, was brought to Sahibganj on Friday morning in a bloody clash in the Galvan Valley with Chinese soldiers. The body is placed on a platform built by the army in the martyr’s village Dihari. A large number of people have arrived to pay tribute to the martyr. The funeral will be held in a short while. Preparations have been started for this. There is a lot of enthusiasm among the people to give a final farewell. Despite the rains, a large number of people stood on either side to welcome the path through which the body is being brought.
The dead body of martyr from Ladakh was brought to the camp at Danapur of Bihar Regiment on Thursday night. There Kundan Lal Ojha was paid tribute on behalf of Bihar Regiment. The body was then brought to Sahibganj by an army vehicle. The last visit will take place on Friday after the tribute in Dihari village. The funeral will be held with state honors at the Munilal crematorium. State government ministers will also be involved.
BJP’s Dumka MP Sunil Soren, former Minister Dr. Lewis Marandi, Raj Palivar, State Vice President Hemlal Mumaru will also come to pay tribute. On Thursday evening Deputy Commissioner Varun Ranjan, SP Anuranjan Crispotta, SDO Pankaj Saw, Executive Magistrate Mithilesh Jha, BDO Pratima Kumari reached the martyr’s house. The pain of his father Ravi Shankar Ojha, brothers Mukesh Ojha and Kanhaiya Ojha flowed out of tears. Officials said that Kundan has sacrificed for the country. The country is proud of them. Told that there was a delay in arrival of the body due to bad weather. Helicopter departed from Leh on Thursday afternoon. The body reached Allahabad at five o’clock. From there the salute was brought after the Danapur Headquarters of Bihar Regiment. Then an Army vehicle is being brought to Sahibganj.
Administrative officer will cooperate with one lakh
Administrative officials have decided to give one lakh rupees to the martyr’s family with mutual support. Draft will be handed over to family on Friday. Two-four days later Munna Yadav of Mahadevganj, a martyr in a Naxalite attack in Bijapur, will also be given a draft of Rs one lakh. The body will be kept for the last darshan in the pandal constructed by the district administration next to Kundan’s house. Even on Thursday, people kept visiting Kundan’s house throughout the day. There was also great anger towards China. Explain that 20 Indian soldiers were killed in this incident, while 43 Chinese soldiers were killed.
