India Post GDS Recruitment 2023: Indian Postal Department has recruited more than 40 thousand posts of Gramin Dak Sevak (GDS). To apply for these posts, candidates must have 10th pass. According to the released notification, there are a total of 40,889 vacancies in the Department of Posts for the posts of Branch Post Master (BPM), Assistant Branch Post Master (ABPM). Applications have been invited for these posts. The online application process has started from January 27 and February 16, 2023 is the last date to apply.
Know what is the age limit
The age of the candidates applying for the recruitment should be between 18 years to 40 years.
Relaxation in upper age limit will be given to reserved category candidates as per rules.
How much will be the salary
Selected candidates on these posts will be given a salary ranging from Rs 10,000 to Rs 24,470 per month.
India Post GDS 2023: Know what is eligibility
- Applicants must have the following qualifications to apply for GDS Recruitment 2023 on Indian posts.
- Class 10 pass with Mathematics and English from a recognized board.
- Applicants must have studied the local language. Name of the local language at least up to secondary level as a compulsory or elective subject.
- Other qualifications include knowledge of computers, riding a cycle and adequate means of livelihood.
Selection will be like this
Applicants for these posts will be selected on the basis of marks obtained in 10th class. Along with this, the result of post office GDS recruitment can be published in the last week of February. After the selection of the candidate, the selection will be done on the basis of merit list, document verification, and medical marks obtained in class X.
Indian Post GDS Application Fee
Candidates have to pay a fee of Rs.100 for all the posts. However, fee is exempted for women applicants, SC/ST applicants, PWD applicants and transwoman candidates.
