Essential Educational Qualification
- Postal Assistant / Sorting Assistant – Candidates should have at least 12th pass. Also, at least 60 days basic computer course should be done.
- Postman/Mail Guard-12th pass. Also, knowledge of Gujarati language is also necessary.
- Must have studied Gujarati language as a subject till class 10th. 60 days basic computer course should also be done.
- Multi-Tasking Staff (MTS) – 10th pass. Must have studied Gujarati language as a subject till class 10th.
Age Range
Candidates age should be minimum 18 years and maximum 25 years. However the maximum age limit for MTS post is 27 years. Also, reserved category candidates will be given relaxation in upper age limit as per rules.
How much will you get salary
Postal Assistant/Sorting Assistant – Rs 25,500 to Rs 81,100 under Pay Level 4
Postman/ Mail Guard – Rs 21,700 to Rs 69,100 under Pay Level 3
Multi-Tasking Staff (MTS) – Rs 18,000 to Rs 56,900 under Pay Level 1 up to Rs.
Application fee
The application fee for India Post Recruitment is Rs 100. But Female, Transgender, SC/ ST, PWBD, Ex-Servicemen candidates are exempted from payment of application fee.
