The process of online application is going on. Interested and eligible candidates can apply through the official website indiapostgdsonline.gov.in by 16 February. In such a situation, candidates are advised not to wait for the last date to apply. Notification regarding recruitment has already been issued.
According to the released notification, these vacancies for 10th pass candidates have been taken out for recruitment to the posts of Branch Postmaster, Assistant Branch Postmaster and Dak Sevak in various states across the country. The total number of posts is 40,889. For which candidates from many states of the country including UP, Bihar, Delhi, Rajasthan, Maharashtra, Gujarat can apply. Candidates who have applied successfully will be able to amend their application form from 17 to 19 February.

The age limit of the candidates for recruitment in the Department of Posts has been fixed between 18 to 40 years. However, relaxation will be given to the reserved category candidates in the maximum age limit.

Candidates will be selected through merit list. This list will be prepared on the basis of marks obtained in 10th. The list of selected candidates will be declared on the official portal. Candidates whose names appear in the list will be called for document verification.
