India Post Recruitment 2025:Â India Post has issued a notification for recruitment to the post of Gramin Dak Sevak (GDS). A total of 21413 vacancies will be filled across the country for Branch Postmaster (BPM), Assistant Branch Postmaster (ABPM) and Dak Sevak. 10th pass candidates can easily apply online on the official website i.e. indiapostgdsonline.gov.in. The last date to apply is 03 March. However, correction in the application will be done from 06 to 08 March.
India Post Recruitment 2025: Candidates should note that the vacancies will be filled in Andhra Pradesh, Assam, Bihar, Chhattisgarh, Delhi, Gujarat, Haryana, Himachal Pradesh, Jammu and Kashmir, Jharkhand, Karnataka, Kerala, Madhya Pradesh, Maharashtra, North East, Odisha, Punjab, Tamil Nadu, Telangana, Uttar Pradesh, Uttarakhand and West Bengal region. The maximum number of vacancies are available in Uttar Pradesh, followed by Tamil Nadu.

- BPM – Rs 12,000 to Rs 29,380 per month
- ABPM/Postal Servant – Rs 10,000 to Rs 24,470 per month

Some are required to pay the application fee. The fee should be paid online through credit/debit card and net banking. The application fee for each category is mentioned here.
- Unreserved Category – Rs 100
- There is no application fee for SC/ST/Female candidates/Transwoman applicants, PWD

Candidates should be at least 18 years of age and the maximum age limit is 40 years.
India Post Recruitment 2025:Â Selection ProcessÂ
- Merit List 2025: There will be no exam for this recruitment. Selection will be done on the basis of merit list prepared by the system. The merit list will be prepared in percentage with an accuracy of 4 decimal places on the basis of converting the marks/grades/points obtained in the 10th examination into marks.
- Document Verification: Document verification of the candidates selected in the merit list will be done.
- Medical Fitness Test: If required, candidates will have to pass a basic medical fitness test.
