new Delhi. India on Thursday again rejected China’s claim on the India China standoff galwan valley and said that the Line of Actual Control should be strictly respected. This statement from India came a day before the meeting of the diplomats of the two countries to reduce the tension in Ladakh and the process of reversing the forces.

The two countries said on Thursday that they would continue to hold meetings through diplomatic and military channels in order to push back the forces and reduce tensions. Officials associated with the matter said on condition of anonymity that the Working Mechanism for Consultation and Coordination (WMCC) on border matters will hold its third virtual meeting on Friday since the beginning of the border standoff between the two countries.

He said that corps commanders of both sides are expected to meet in Ladakh border next week, although the date is yet to be decided so that the next steps to back the forces and reduce tensions can be discussed.

After the most serious crisis in LAC in decades, India is moving forward with great caution in the process of reversing the army. Soldiers from both sides limited themselves to the LAC’s major stress areas after Sunday’s phone conversations with special representatives such as India’s National Security Advisor Ajit Doval (NSA Ajit Doval) and China’s Foreign Minister Wang Yi on the border issue have done it. Both representatives agreed that peace and stability along the border are necessary for the overall development of bilateral relations.

External Affairs Ministry spokesman Anurag Shrivastava made clear India’s position on reversing the army during the weekly virtual news briefing. He said that China has made exaggerated and unconfirmed claims on Galvan Valley recently. He said the LAC should be “strictly respected” and observed that “it is the basis for peace and stability in the border areas.”

He said that neither side should take unilateral action to change the LAC. We are convinced of the need for the maintenance of peace and stability in border areas and the resolution of differences through dialogue. At the same time, we are also strongly committed to ensuring India’s sovereignty and territorial integrity.

At the same time, Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesman Zhao Lijian in Beijing said that the situation in the western region of the disputed border has been “improving”. He said that there will be another round of negotiations under the WMCC mechanism. Zhao said, “Sino-India troops have taken effective steps to retreat to the Galvan Valley and other areas after concurrence in commander-level talks. The situation on the border is stable and improving. Both sides are military and diplomatic Will continue to interact and communicate through channels, including holding WMMC meetings on border matters. “
