Sarkari Naukri in Indian Air Force: Every youth aspires to become an officer in the Indian Air Force (IAF). But this wish is fulfilled by only a few people. It takes a lot of hard work for this. Flying officers in the Indian Air Force (IAF) contribute a lot to the service of the country. For this, one has to apply through UPSC NDA, UPSC CDS and AFCAT.
Candidates who want to become a Flying Officer can apply under Short Service Commission (SSC) in Flying Branch through AFCAT. This short service commission is for 14 years without any extension. As a graduate/engineer, candidates can join the flying branch through Air Force Academy.
All the shortlisted candidates start their career as Fighter Pilot or Helicopter Pilot or Transport Pilot. AFCAT exam is conducted twice a year in all the major cities across India.
Age Limit for Sarkari Naukri Indian Air Force
To apply for this, the age of any candidate should be 20 to 24 years. Upper age limit is relaxable up to 26 years for candidates holding valid and current Commercial Pilot License issued by DGCA. Also, the candidate should have Indian citizenship and unmarried.
Eligibility for Sarkari Naukri Indian Air Force
1. Should have at least 50% marks each in Maths and Physics in 10+2.
2. It is necessary to be a graduate in any discipline from a recognized university with at least 60% marks.
3. Must have passed Section A and B examination of at least 60% marks or Associate Membership of Institute of Engineers (India) or Aeronautical Society of India from a recognized University.
4. Final year students can also apply. But they should not have any backlog at the time of AFSB test and have to produce the degree certificate issued by the university as per the date stipulated in the advertisement.
Salary for Sarkari Naukri Indian Air Force
Talking about the salary, according to the Seventh Pay Commission, a flying officer is given a salary ranging from 56100 to 177500 rupees per month. After this, as the rank and stature in the Air Force increase, the salary will also increase.
