Railway News: Indian Railways has given the gift of Diwali to lakhs of employees every year. All the employees working in the railways will get a bonus of 78 days this year also (Railway Diwali Bonus). Last year also he got bonus of the same number of days.
Indian Railway Diwali Bonus: Indian Railways has announced to give 78 days Diwali bonus to lakhs of its employees this year as well. Before the festival of Diwali, about Rs 17,951 is going to be credited in the account of railway employees in the account of bonus. About 11.27 lakh railway workers will benefit from this. This festive bonus will be paid before Dussehra. It is being told that Rs 1832.09 crore will be spent by the Railway Department in distributing this bonus.
Approve the decision
According to the spokesperson of the Ministry of Railways, the proposal to give bonus to railway employees has been approved. The limit prescribed for payment of this Production Linked Bonus i.e. PLB is Rs.7,000/- per month. Under this, the maximum amount payable for 78 days to every eligible railway employee will be Rs 17,951. It is worth noting that the railway employees were given a bonus of 78 days in 2021 as well.
Bonus for incentive
According to a statement issued by the Ministry of Railways, ‘All the employees have played an important role in the performance of their passenger and freight services. These railway workers of ours have also played an important role in taking forward the economy of the country. The payment of PLB will act as an incentive. This will help motivate a large number of Railway employees, especially those involved in the performance and operation of Railways, to improve their productivity and ensure safety, speed and service to the Railway customers. Paying the PLB will also boost the demand in the economy in the coming festivals.
