Jabalpur division has given permission to travel without reservation in general coaches of shuttle, Intercity and Vindhyachal Express operating within its limits.
From November 8, this relief is being given in half a dozen passenger passenger trains of the division. In this episode, two general class coaches D9 and D10 of Jabalpur Rewa Shuttle train along with parcel vehicle will also be given entry on unreserved tickets for general classes. Apart from this, there will be no restriction on traveling in general coaches in Rewa Intercity, Intercity running between Jabalpur to Habibganj.
Senior Divisional Commercial Manager Vishwaranjan told that now unreserved passengers will be able to travel in the passenger train 01117 going from Itarsi to Prayagraj. Vindhyachal train 01271/72 going from Itarsi to Bhopal via Jabalpur, Katni, Damoh, Sagar route and Train 01161/62 running between Bhopal to Damoh will also have two coaches D 10,11 unreserved for general class passengers.
Actually, the railway administration has taken this step to give relief to the passengers. With these vehicles, now this facility is being given in other also. From November 8, passengers can now travel short distances on normal tickets in these trains.
